The paid tools' one real trick is the dynamic code: change where it points after it's printed. They do it by pointing the code at their server, which is exactly why the code dies the day you stop paying.
Do it yourself. Point the code at a page on a domain you control, and this tab writes that page for you. Change the destination later by editing one line. Nobody can switch it off.
You get: change the destination forever, no subscription, no expiry, no middleman reading your scans.
You give up: scan counts and heat maps. Those need someone logging every person who scans, and that isn't a thing this app is going to do to you or to them.
Want the code to work even if your host vanishes? Don't use this — encode the destination directly in the Studio tab. That code outlives everybody.
PHUCK QR is a QR code factory that runs entirely on your machine. One HTML file. No account, no upload, no network call, no watermark, no expiry, no "3 free codes this month". Open it on a plane and it works exactly the same.
Everything you type is encoded straight into the pixels. There is no server in the middle, because there is no server at all.
This is the part the paid tools won't do. Every code is decoded back out of the finished image before you're allowed to save it. Logo too big, contrast too weak, dots too round, quiet zone too tight — all the ways a pretty QR code quietly stops working — get caught here instead of on a thousand printed stickers.
