Need 5? Cool.
Need 50? Also cool.
Need 250+? The big guys are better at bulk — that's their game.
CnF Works started from trying to manage my first Kickstarter and merch store. I was staring down $450 worth of stickers — unsure I'd sell enough to justify the order, unsure I'd be sitting on dead stock, unsure which designs were worth the bet. I needed a price point that made sense. I couldn't afford to subsidize one design on another.
If you're well established and moving hundreds of items a month, you're already hitting those minimums the big shops impose. This is not for you.
This is for those starting out. Those still figuring out what sells. Those whose audience is there but the merch side hasn't caught up yet. That's who CnF Works was built for.
That said — we're happy to work with any small operation. We've made shirts and hats for a plumbing company in Arizona. We work with nonprofits and community groups. The common thread is that nobody here is ordering a pallet.
Hundreds of hours of research and testing — materials, printers, equipment, software, everything from imposers to accounting. I got to a place where I exceeded the quality and price the big guys offered. By then I was sitting on a functional print shop. I'd gotten where I wanted to be and spent thousands of dollars doing it. You don't have to.
Most creators don't have the time, resources, or inclination to build their own print shop. That's not a knock — it's just not the point. The point is making your project real.
And getting your product shouldn't feel like another cut. Taxes, fees, hosting, accounting software — death by a million cuts. Disappearing margins are already a problem. Your merch supplier shouldn't be adding to them.
Five units is a real order. You don't need to buy 250 to be taken seriously.

You're paying for the thing you need made. Not somebody's software subscription.
